ThermiSmooth Face now available in Algonquin

ThermiSmooth face treatment from dermatologist in illinois Nearly everyone wants to have smooth, youthful skin. Women and men from Algonquin to Lake in the Hills, Trout Valley, Carpentersville, Cary, Crystal Lake, Woodstock, Huntley, Barrington, Elgin, Gilbert, and Dundee are no different. Dermatology Specialists of Illinois brings non-surgical face tightening technology to these individuals, with ThermiSmooth.

Science of smooth skin

ThermiSmooth Face is based on the science of radiofrequency – electromagnetic waves in a specific frequency band. This technology has long been used in medicine, such as magnetic resonance imaging – MRI. It is also the basis of wireless communications.

Our technicians use a handheld applicator to apply temperature-controlled RF energy to surface skin. It creates a thermal response in deep layers to tighten face skin. Collagen is a meshwork of fibrous proteins that supports skin. Heat generated by ThermiSmooth Face causes collagen to contract. It also stimulates fibroblasts, cells that create new collagen.

This non-invasive procedure is ideal for improvement of fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead, cheeks, and neck. FDA-approved ThermiSmooth Face is safe and gentle enough for delicate skin around eyes and mouth, too.

What to expect

  • A comfortable experience. You feel warmth, but treatment is not painful.
  • Non-invasive, with no injections, cutting, sutures, or scars.
  • Drug-free, so no risk of interaction with medications.
  • A treatment takes 30 minutes or less.
  • Usually three to six sessions, spaced a week or two apart, are recommended for optimal results.
  • Immediate change, with continued improvement as fresh collagen builds.
  • Can be used alone, or in combination with other products and therapies for comprehensive skin rejuvenation.
